Senior QA Engineer

Simply Technologies is looking for an enthusiastic manual QA specialist to work on the development of a mobile app for a world-famous brand. You will be a part of the experienced mobile engineering team of Simply Technologies with a strong learning and development culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of new features

  • Be passionate about quality and strive to improve processes, generate new standards, and drive their usage within the teams.

  • Perform Functional and UI testing

  • Perform Integration and Regression Testing

  • Partner with the development team and build test cases that help deliver high-quality features

  • Understanding requirements from a business perspective to be validated through testing and assessing them in the context of an Agile/Scrum delivery model.

  • Proactively keep up with the latest trends in mobile app testing

  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency, researching the latest trends and technologies within your specialized field

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar QA role

  • Experienced In Agile Practices and Continuous Testing

  • Experience with Scrum

  • Well-experienced in software quality principles, advanced test methodologies, best practices, and procedures

  • Experience testing native mobile applications for iOS and Android

  • Experience in API testing

  • A solid understanding of the fundamentals of programming

  • GitHub (or similar Source Control tools)

  • Excellent level of spoken and written English
